cultural and heritage materials. Browse newspapers from 1885, read entire books
about local communities, research legal documents, view historic photographs,
and explore much more!
Ancestry: Library Edition is powered by the world's most
popular consumer online genealogy resource Ancestry.com. Here, you can unlock
the story of you with sources like censuses, vital records, immigration
records, family histories, military records, court and legal documents,
directories, photos, maps, and more.
View digitized microfilm editions of the Brooks Bulletin via the Canadiana Online website. In addition to the City of Brooks, the Brooks Bulletin reports on many other communities in the County of Newell and Southeast Alberta. Full-text searching is available using optical character recognition (OCR) technology.
This resource is freely available through the generous support of Brooks Public Library.
Every issue of each title includes the complete paper, cover-to-cover, with full-page and article images in easily downloadable PDF format.

LawCentral Alberta is a portal or collection of links to law-related information and educational resources on justice and legal issues of interest to Albertans. Our purpose is to create an educated public who understands their rights and responsibilities under the law, and who knows where to go for legal help and referral.
Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library initiative is
delivered by The Alberta Library through 35 participating postsecondary
institutions in the Province, including private and public not-for-profit
universities, colleges, technical schools and First Nations colleges. The
program represents a radical change to the breadth and depth of electronic
resources available through most of the participating institutions.
